Tulips
Tulips are a genus of spring-blooming perennial herbaceous bulbous plants. The flowers are usually large, showy and brightly colored, generally red, pink, yellow, or white.
Native to a region from Southern Europe to Central Asia, the tulip remains a beloved garden flower around the world. Holland produces most of the world's commercial tulip bulbs.
Care
- Plant bulbs in autumn, before the first frost.
- Choose a sunny spot with well-drained soil.
- Water sparingly - tulips dislike soggy roots.
