CIS Sandbox

Visiting Kazakhstan, I became enamored of the brutalist design of simple sandboxes that seem to be common across post-Soviet Commonwealth of Independent States. Returning home from one trip, I designed a replica which has since enjoyed much use from the neighborhood children. Perhaps inevitably, these sandboxes are slowly disappearing from the CIS world, in preference for more modern designs.
